So what am I talking about? Sources, folks, sources. Have you ever wondered
...how your food is grown?
...what 'local' means?
...if organic is always the best choice (and what qualifies it to be organic)?
...if "natural" signifies a darn thing?
...if the produce at the Farmer's Market is really from the farmer selling it?
Well, I have been wondering...a lot. And my curiosity has enticed me to start asking questions, researching the issues, and challenge the very labels that (I dare say) most of us rely on so trustingly. Intrigued? I hope so. I look forward to sharing with you what I have discovered, what drives me batty about shopping in the grocery store, and why sometimes non organic may be a better choice over the alternative. Yikes, did I just say that?!
Until then, I am curious...what are your shopping habits? Are you a bargain hunter or do you prefer specialty stores? Do you only buy organic? Do you know why? Have you considered what amendments are used on your foods and why?
In health and curiosity,
