Last month I decided to do something I hadn't done in years, I cut off all my hair! Well, all my hair is a bit of an exaggeration, but 8 inches is still pretty significant. Though I loved my luscious locks, the maintenance was getting to be too much. Let's face it, a thick ponytail holder was my accessory of choice on a day to day basis.
I suppose I could have done a trim to the shoulders with several layers. It's a flattering look and less work. But come on! I am lucky to have thick, dark untreated hair - how could I not share it? The natural choice for me was to donate it. I did this once before and I felt so good to know someone else could benefit from my good genes and the care that I have taken to keep my hair healthy.
